Can anyone please tell me, what is the correct wheel size for the Honda step wagon ? :?:

I would suggest you get a cuppa and read through this website so you don't make a big mistake!

http://www.carbibles.com/tyre_bible_pg2.html

I also surfed along the "tinternet" and found this

15-16inch
PCD: 114.3mm
Offset: 50 mm
Hole: 5 hole

There should be some marking on the wheels.

Good luck! :D

Just found this too ... On this webpage there is a calculation of pitch circle diameter (PCD) from the spacing of the bolts so have a read and pop outside to measure your wheel bolt spacing! :D

http://www.western-towing.co.uk/acatalog/PCD_Calculation.html

How about the forum members building a list of alternative wheels that have the same PCD and offset?
Who can start this off? Any offers?

I have researched this for VW's so I know the VW family of wheels (and probably all German wheels) have a PCD of 112 mm and therefore will not fit. I guess we need to look at other Japanese vehicles to find similar PCD's and offsets (though offsets can be adjusted with spacers).

Cheers

Lewis

Some Honda data:

Here is the source of these data and a useful list of many wheel sizes. Seems Hyundai use the same PCD as Honda and some Japanese manufacturers for specific vehicles (but not all!)

http://www.carlsalter.com/old_wheel_fitments.html

You also need to pay attention to the weight of the vehicle - you can't fit small car alloys to a large people carrier without risk of fatigue failure, i.e. wheel fracture potentially at speed! This is a highly technical subject but some guidance is given by the tyre Load Index - see details here: http://www.carbibles.com/tyre_bible.html#loads

Hope this helps :D Lewis
